The mission of the Master of Divinity program is to provide a high-quality graduate theological education. The program will equip graduates to engage in Christian congregational life and other settings where thinking theologically and ministering to the spiritual, social, and physical development of all people within a Christian spiritual context are expected. The aim of the program is to ecumenically prepare those who qualify and desire to extend the transformational love of Jesus Christ via the empowerment of education and Christian spiritual formation.  The M.Div. degree is geared to broadly attract students who are intentional about training for Christian parish or parachurch ministry. Such areas include the following, but are not limited to, pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, Christian education, campus ministry, religious archivist, or curatorial work. Such a degree will equip graduates for ministry and leadership in broad circles and buttress general ethical leadership skills.
